How 6 months ago is counted
Today is day 0. Going back 6 months gives the date in the box above, worked out on your device for your time zone, so it's right wherever you are. Months are counted on the calendar: the same day of the month, moved to the last day when a month is shorter (one month after January 31 is February 28, or 29 in a leap year).
For example, from Sunday, October 11, 2026, 6 months earlier is Saturday, April 11, 2026.
