Your files stay on your device
Every tool on ThatToolSite runs inside your web browser. When you add a PDF, photo or other file, it is read and processed by your own device. It is not uploaded to our servers or anyone else's, and it is gone when you close the page. The same applies to numbers and text you type into calculators.
What is stored in your browser
Some tools remember settings or your last entries using your browser's local storage, so they are still there next time. This data stays on your device. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings. We also remember whether you chose light or dark mode.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service that sets no cookies, to count page visits and how often a result is downloaded or copied in each tool. It records the page, the type of file (for example "jpg") and general details like country and device type. It never receives your files, file names, or anything you type into a tool. Our host, Cloudflare, may also count visits for performance and security.
Advertising
We may show ads from Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time.
