How to rotate PDF pages
- Add your PDF. Drop it on the box or choose it. A preview of every page appears.
- Turn the pages. Use the arrows under a page to turn it left or right by a quarter turn, or the All pages buttons to turn everything at once. The preview turns as you click.
- Download. Press Download rotated PDF. Pages you didn't touch stay exactly as they were.

What rotating changes in the file
A PDF page carries a rotation value of 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees that tells every viewer how to show it. This tool adds your turns to that value and saves the file. The content of the page, its text, links and form fields, stays exactly as it was, which is why rotating is instant and lossless.
The number shown next to a page is how far you've turned it here. Turning a page four times brings it back to where it started, and Undo all rotations resets every page.
Tips
Mixed scans. When a scanner turns only some pages, rotate those few individually rather than the whole file.

Frequently asked questions
Will the rotation stay when I open the file elsewhere?
Yes. The rotation is written into the PDF itself, so the pages open the right way up in Adobe Reader, Preview, Chrome, phones and printers. It isn't just a viewing setting.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Rotating changes one setting on each page; the text, images and drawings are not touched or recompressed. The file size stays almost exactly the same.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Every page has its own rotate left and rotate right buttons. Use the All pages buttons only when the whole document is turned the same way.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The file is opened and saved by your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
A page is rotated by 90° but my viewer still shows it sideways. Why?
Some scanners save the picture of a page sideways and then also mark the page as rotated. Look at the preview here rather than the number: keep turning the page until the preview is upright, then download.
