The AI photo prompt generator has a New Year 2027 theme with party, fireworks and poster looks you can mix. It writes the prompt; the image itself is made by the AI app you use.
Build a New Year promptHow to use these New Year prompts
- Choose a sharp photo of your face. Front-facing and well lit works best, even if the final scene is at night.
- Attach it in Gemini or ChatGPT. Use the attach or plus button in the chat box.
- Paste a prompt and send. Change colours, clothes or the city to match your plans.
- Ask for small changes. One per reply, such as “more confetti” or “make it 9:16 for a story”.
Night scenes tend to change faces more than daytime ones, because the light is so different from your photo. Each prompt below asks for some soft light on your face for that reason. Expect results to vary between apps and tries.
New Year party photo prompts
Rooftop party with confetti
Using the uploaded photo, create a New Year's Eve party photo of me on a rooftop at night, gold confetti falling, string lights and friends blurred behind. Keep my face exactly as in the photo: same features, face shape, skin tone and age, no beautifying. Black and gold party outfit, mid-laugh, holding a glass. Photorealistic, natural skin texture, realistic hands, no logos or watermarks. No text. Aspect ratio 4:5.
House party flash photo
Using the uploaded photo, make a candid New Year house-party snapshot of me taken with direct on-camera flash: slightly overexposed foreground, dark room behind, party hat, streamers and balloons. Keep my face exactly as in the photo: same features, face shape, skin tone and age, no beautifying. Fun and unposed. Photorealistic, natural skin texture, realistic hands, no logos or watermarks. No text. Aspect ratio 4:5.
Black and gold studio portrait
Using the uploaded photo, create a glamorous New Year studio portrait of me against a matte black backdrop with a few gold balloons and a sequin outfit catching the light. Keep my face exactly as in the photo: same features, face shape, skin tone and age, no beautifying. Soft key light, gentle sparkle in the background. Photorealistic, natural skin texture, realistic hands, no logos or watermarks. No text. Aspect ratio 4:5.
Fireworks and midnight prompts
Fireworks look best far behind you, high in the sky. When they are close, the app has to light your face with their colours, which tends to change it. The countdown prompt keeps the crowd blurred so the app doesn’t invent extra faces.
Skyline fireworks behind me
Using the uploaded photo, place me on a riverside promenade at midnight with large fireworks bursting over a city skyline far behind me. Keep my face exactly as in the photo: same features, face shape, skin tone and age, no beautifying. Winter coat and scarf, my face lit softly from the front so it is not in silhouette. Photorealistic, natural skin texture, realistic hands, no logos or watermarks. No text. Aspect ratio 9:16.
Beach countdown with sparklers
Using the uploaded photo, create a New Year's Eve photo of me on a beach at night holding a lit sparkler at arm's length, away from my face, with fireworks over the sea. Keep my face exactly as in the photo: same features, face shape, skin tone and age, no beautifying. Light summer clothes, warm sparkle glow. Photorealistic, natural skin texture, realistic hands, no logos or watermarks. No text. Aspect ratio 4:5.
Couple at the midnight countdown
Using the uploaded photo of two people, create a photo of them hugging and laughing at midnight in a crowd, fireworks above. Keep both faces exactly as in the photo and do not add other sharp faces; the crowd stays blurred. Photorealistic, natural skin texture, realistic hands, no logos or watermarks. No text. Aspect ratio 4:5.
Minimalist New Year poster prompts
A poster-style image works well as a profile picture, a story or a greeting. The first two leave space for your own text; the third tries to show 2027 as balloons.
Minimal poster with blank space
Using the uploaded photo, create a minimalist New Year poster image: me in a simple black outfit on the lower half, a plain warm-grey background, a single thin gold streamer, and a large empty area at the top for text I will add later. Keep my face exactly as in the photo: same features, face shape, skin tone and age, no beautifying. Clean studio light. No letters or numbers. Aspect ratio 4:5.
Bold colour block
Using the uploaded photo, create a bold minimalist New Year portrait: me in front of a flat deep-blue background with one large gold circle behind my head, sharp shadows, modern editorial style. Keep my face exactly as in the photo: same features, face shape, skin tone and age, no beautifying. Empty space on the right. No letters or numbers. Aspect ratio 1:1.
Poster with 2027 balloons
Using the uploaded photo, create a minimalist New Year poster of me standing next to four large gold foil balloons shaped as the digits 2, 0, 2 and 7, in that order from left to right, on a plain cream background. Keep my face exactly as in the photo: same features, face shape, skin tone and age, no beautifying. No other text. Photorealistic, natural skin texture, realistic hands, no logos or watermarks. Aspect ratio 4:5.
Getting “2027” and “Happy New Year” to show correctly
Image models have improved a lot with lettering, but short words and numbers still come out wrong often enough to check every time: 2072 instead of 2027, a doubled letter, a missing word. A few ways around it:
- Leave the space empty and type your greeting in any photo editor or your phone’s markup tool. It is the only way to get the exact font and spelling you want.
- Spell numbers out in order, as the balloon prompt does: “the digits 2, 0, 2 and 7, in that order from left to right”.
- Keep it short. “2027” works more often than a full sentence. Put any text in quotes in the prompt.
- Fix it in a reply. “The number should read 2027; change only the number.”
